Three feature-rich calculators designed for Apple's iPhone(TM), iPhone 3G(S), and iPod(C) touch.

Use the PaperCalc products to produce an accurate paper tape trail of your calculations, timestamp whenever necessary, and easily email to yourself or a friend for printout and a permanent hard copy.

A variety of PaperCalc offerings all offer the same crisp look and feel and are optimized for either scientific use (PaperCalc 3 & PaperCalc) or for an office environment (PaperCalc 3 Office).

PaperCalc 3 - just released September 28 to the App. Store. PaperCalc 3 has the look and feel, and scientific keyboard, of the original PaperCalc. PaperCalc 3 adds features that are unique to iPhone/iTouch OS3.0 that include: 1. paste numbers, or a range of lines, to the Apple clipboard, and 2. the ability to email the paper tape without leaving the app.

PaperCalc - the original PaperCalc. A fast feature-rich calculator with 25 scientific functions on a scroll left keyboard. PaperCalc only requires OS2.1 and will continue to get additional language support.

PaperCalc 3 Office - same feature set as PaperCalc 3 but optimized for an office environment with large oversized keys and no scientific functions

Main Features of PaperCalc 3, PaperCalc, and PaperCalc 3 Office:

  • Powerful and easy to use calculators with large buttons for easy and sure numeric entry.
  • 250 lines of virtual paper tape keep a record of all calculations such as complex math crunching, bank transactions, or even MPG calculations from the gas station.
  • Move the LCD display up to make the keys even larger, or down to view more of the virtual tape.
  • Option to double-tap the LCD display to clear the paper tape.
  • Time stamp and email the paper tape for reference and record keeping.
  • Add comments to any line of the paper tape.
  • Grab a number from any prior calculation for use in the calculation being done now.
  • 25 scientific functions are available by scrolling to the left-side keyboard (PaperCalc & PaperCalc 3 only).
  • Three display options: SCIentific, ENGineerig (power of three), or 2 to 8 position fixed point decimal. Rotate freely amongst them at any time. (PaperCalc 3 Office requires the Office+ keyboard to be selected to see this option).
  • 10 numeric memories for either intermediate calculations or long term reference. The status of each is flagged as red if full, or green if empty.
  • Full save and restore of the calculator when powering down and up. No intermediate calculations are lost.

  • Design your own keyboard layout or use one of two default.


PaperCalc 3, PaperCalc, & PaperCalc 3 Office email (see below) - Includes line numbers on the left, and line separators. All comments and calculations are preserved accurately and can be printed for a permanent hard copy. (NOTE: PaperCalc 3 Office does not have the scientific functions.)

Tap on any line and grab a number for use in your current calculation. Think of the paper tape as a deep memory storage system for holding intermediate results.
